Khmer cooking classes fall precisely into this category, offering you a half-day of training that includes shopping for essential ingredients at local markets, preparing dishes, and of course, tasting the fruits of your labor!

Cooking Classes in Siem Reap with Champey

There are two sessions per day.

Morning Session. Duration: 3h30

• 09:30 - 10:00: Visit to an authentic Khmer market
• 10:00 – 10:10: Welcome drink and refreshing wipe
• 10:10 - 10:25: Putting on the uniform and chef's instructions
• 10:25 - 10:45: Learning how to cut vegetables for garnishing your dishes
• 10:45 – 11:00: Preparation of the appetizer
• 11:00 – 11:20: Tasting the result of your hidden talents!
• 11:20 – 11:40: Preparation of the main course
• 11:40 – 11:55: Tasting your creation
• 11:55 – 12:05: Preparation of dessert
• 12:05 – 12:15: Tasting
• 12:15 – 12:30: Break/Relaxation
• 12 :30 – 12 :40 : Certificate distribution / Small photo session
• 12 :40 - 13 :00 : End of the class

Afternoon Session. Duration: 3h30

The same schedule as in the morning, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

Cooking Classes in Phnom Penh with La Table Khmère

Same schedule as in Siem Reap and a similar program, including the market visit, preparation, and tasting.

La Table Khmère provides ideal conditions for cooking and learning:

• Air-conditioned room
• Stainless steel work surfaces
• Sinks with purified water for washing ingredients
• Exhaust hood
• Gas-equipped workstations for students

Everything is included for this half-day training, and you don’t need to bring anything. You can show up with your hands in your pockets and fully enjoy the experience!
