Kep National Park

Kep National Park is a vast, 66-square-kilometer forest nestled against the rolling hills of Cambodia’s interior. The main path through this ecosystem—an earthy, gravelly trail—can be explored on foot, by bicycle, or by motorcycle. Stretching over 6.5 kilometers, the trail follows the contours of the hills, first climbing upwards before descending to the opposite side of the mountain. Depending on your interest in the local wildlife, flora, and landscapes, the hike can take up to three hours. Sheltered by the dense surrounding forest, the trail offers plentiful shaded areas, protecting visitors from the intense sun that characterizes Cambodia’s dry season. Unlike other hikes where the heat can be overwhelming, this journey is gently cooled by a refreshing woodland breeze, making each pause an opportunity to fully appreciate the subtle beauty unfolding before your eyes.

Overlooking the Coastline

These wooden cabins, now deserted, feature terraces that open up to stunning, panoramic views of Kep’s coastal landscape. You’ll find many such spots along the route—it's up to you to choose your favorite viewpoint before settling in for a break.

For those who prefer a leisurely motorcycle ride through sunlit paths, Kep National Park offers a perfect backdrop. The main trail, which briefly widens before winding sinuously through the hills, is ideal for motorcycling enthusiasts looking to combine a sense of freedom with breathtaking scenery.
