Simplified entry procedure for Cambodia with Cambodia E-Arrival
Cambodia is modernizing its entry procedures with the launch of the “Cambodia E-Arrival” card. This initiative, effective as of July 2024, allows travelers to complete and submit all necessary arrival documents electronically—including visa applications, immigration forms, health declarations, and customs declarations. It marks a major step forward in streamlining travel to this Southeast Asian destination.
Cambodia E-Arrival replaces the traditional arrival card
The Cambodia E-Arrival system greatly simplifies entry formalities. Travelers can submit their information via the official website www.arrival.gov.kh or through the mobile app, available on both the App Store and Google Play.
To complete the application, the following documents are required:
- A passport-style photo
- A scanned copy of your passport
- Flight details
The app also supports additional formalities, such as submitting health and customs declarations.
Once the application is approved, a QR code is generated. This code must be presented to immigration officers upon arrival—either on your mobile device or in printed form.
If you are unable to complete the online form before arriving in Cambodia, tablets will be available at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap airports to help travelers complete the process on site.
This new system aims to reduce waiting times and modernize the Cambodian border control experience.

To apply for an E-Visa, you will need:
- A recent passport-sized photo
- A scanned copy of your passport
- A valid method of payment (credit or debit card)
The process is quick: once submitted and approved, you will receive a visa certificate to present at immigration checkpoints upon arrival.
