Local harvest

Eco-tourism is a cornerstone of Villa Kep Resort. Recycling is gradually being introduced in Cambodia, with local residents and organizations working to repurpose egg shells, peelings, and other materials for composting and using in the garden, for example.

The resort also grows its own fruits and vegetables in a large garden. These fresh products vary according to the seasons, though the climate in Cambodia has less of an impact on harvests compared to countries like France. Some fruits and vegetables, for instance, can be grown year-round in Cambodia, though not all!

The hotel’s restaurant sources all its fruits and vegetables directly from the garden and adjusts its menu based on the seasonal produce available.
