The spirit of travel
Incense floats in the morning air of Phnom Penh as monks chant their prayers in golden pagodas. This journey intimately blends Buddhist spirituality and tropical relaxation, from the thousand-year-old temples of Angkor to the turquoise waters of Koh Rong. The skilled hands of Khmer therapists knead away accumulated tensions while meditation sessions guided by resident monks soothe the mind.
The path winds between the tentacular roots of Ta Prohm, the stone faces of Bayon and the pre-Angkorian sanctuaries of Sambor Prei Kuk, recently inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. On the calm waters of Tonlé Sap, floating villages reveal the lacustrine life of fishermen. Further south, Kampot exhales its black pepper aromas while Kep unveils its blue crab markets and secret coves bordered by coconut palms.
This unique alliance between Khmer heritage and personal rejuvenation draws from a spiritual tradition over a thousand years old, inherited from the kingdoms of Angkor and transmitted by monastic communities. A journey that leaves the soul serene and the body regenerated.

Immersion in Monastic Meditation
Take a tuk-tuk ride in a vibrant thriving capital. Starting from the Independence Monument, you will cruise along Riverside, along the Chaktomuk river banks up to Wat Phnom.
Let's discover the famous Wat Phnom which gave its name to the capital. The "temple of the hill" is the highest point in Phnom Penh.
We then visit the National Museum and discover one of the most important collections of Khmer art: 14,000 sculptures and ethnographic objects, mostly from the temples of Angkor. This jewel of Khmer architecture was built between 1917 and 1920, and features a magnificent interior courtyard, a truly lush garden surrounded by the museum's unique pieces.
We then visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, true jewels of Khmer architecture built in the mid-19th century.
The Royal Palace dress code is quite strict: shoulders and knees must be covered.
The Lanka pagoda symbolizes the close relationship between resident Khmer monks and Sri Lankan monks. The central activity of this visit is a meditation class in the presence of a resident Buddhist monk. It's an excellent way to free your mind and connect with your inner "self". Days and times of sessions: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (or even 10 a.m. if the session needs to be extended.)
To conclude this day, a boat trip on the Tonlé Sap for an atypical view of Phnom Penh and dinner on the water.
Day trip by tuk tuk

A campaign full of surprises
Road transfer to Siem Reap, the city-province that hosts, among other things, the magnificent temples of Angkor. An essential must-see destination, the city also borders the equally famous Tonlé Sap Lake and its floating villages.
On the road, at the intersection of national roads N6 and N7, be adventurous to fully enjoy a brief "gastronomic" stop in the city of Skun, famous for its spiders and grilled insects.
On the way, at the edge of Kampong Thom, let's discover the remarkable pre-Angkorian temples of Sambor Prei Kuk. This archaeological site has been inscribed in UNESCO's World Heritage since July 2017 and owes this status to its role as the former capital during the period preceding the rise of the Khmer empire, which would later settle in Angkor a few centuries later. A pivotal site at the crossroads of Buddhist, Hindu, animist and even Persian and Greek cultures from the 7th century of our era, as we will be able to discover.
The visit to Sambor Prei Kuk is done on foot to cover the different temples. The walking distances are not very long but the sun near the zenith at this time can make the visit demanding.
If you feel tired, don't hesitate to ask your guide to shorten the visit.
Free lunch is planned after the visits in a local restaurant nearby.
We first head towards the village of Kampong Kleang located on Tonlé Sap Lake approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by car from Siem Reap. We then board a private boat to discover and visit the floating village.
Once you arrive at your destination, we will check you in at the hotel; the rest of the day is free.

The Majestic Temples of Angkor
Full-day visit by tuk-tuk of the wonderful temples of Angkor located around and within the walls of Angkor Thom. We discover in particular Angkor Wat, symbol of the apex of the Khmer Empire during the Angkorian era.
Within Angkor Thom, discover Bayon and its numerous towers with gigantic faces, Baphuon and its gigantic 40-meter reclining Buddha statue, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and its great diversity of sculptures as well as the Terrace of the Leper King.
Let's conclude with Ta Prohm famous for its immense trees with tentacle-like aerial roots. We can end this day with a sunset either at Srah Srang, or from the heights of Pre Rup or Phnom Bakheng if you are ready to brave the crowds (note: Phnom Bakheng is off-limits to children under 12 years old and authorities limit access to 300 people at sunset, creating thus a queue)
Due to an already busy schedule, we deliberately skip a few minor temples on the small circuit such as Banteay Kdei, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda or Ta Keo. If you wish to visit these sites, don't hesitate to inform your guide at the beginning of the day so he can best adjust the schedule.
Possibility to do the visits in reverse order to avoid crowds. You just need to tell your guide at the beginning of the day.
The temples are sacred places, avoid short clothing, you must cover your shoulders and wear long pants or a long skirt.
In order to preserve these fragile monuments, it is forbidden to touch sculptures or to sit on temple elements.
In Cambodian culture, it is offensive to make noise inside a sacred place, calm and respect are the keywords.
It is not recommended to buy items or sweets from child vendors, this only encourages begging and truancy, prefer a donation to an association if it matters to you.
If you wish to photograph the monks (called Bonzes), you must obtain their permission beforehand. Moreover, you must not touch them, they have the right to touch you but not the other way around.

The Roluos Group and gastronomic tour
In the morning, departure (by car today) to visit the temples of Preah Kô, Bakong and Lolei forming the Roluos group. Erected at the end of the 9th century, these pre-Angkorian Hindu temples were the first to be built in stone. Marking the beginnings of classical Khmer art, they served as a model for nearly 300 years.
With your guide, enjoy your visit to Aranh Sakor pagoda just a few nautical miles from Siem Reap to participate in a sacred Buddhist ritual. Receive a purifying blessing under the sign of water that will bring you good luck.
This blessing is a Khmer practice that dates back thousands of years. It takes place inside the pagoda and begins with the harmonious chanting of monks. A way of wishing you good luck, safe travels, and a long life. This is followed by a longer ritual still marked by the refrain of the monks who this time apply holy water to your face.
At the end of the ritual, the monks adorn your wrist with a red bracelet, a sign that the blessing has been properly performed.
Practical information: Bring spare clothes and a towel to dry yourself after the water blessing. Dress code: Dress appropriately by covering your knees and shoulders.
After nightfall, we discover Siem Reap at night by Vespa, traveling through the city with a variety of stops to eat, drink and discover local Khmer nightlife. This gastronomic tour will cover unusual snacks sold by street vendors, but we will also introduce you to classic flavors of Cambodian cuisine and local barbecue. We will interact with locals while exploring a lively fair with a mix of games and activities. This Siem Reap After Dark Vespa tour embraces the traditional and modern sides of the city, resulting in a fun and varied experience that embodies the fun nature of the wonderful Cambodian people.

Day of Serenity to Connect Body and Mind
An introduction day to Navutu wellness practice including:
a yoga class in small group,
an individual yoga class,
a massage session (choice of: Khmer, Thai or relaxing),
a holistic care session (choice of: Reiki, Pranayama, Shiatsu or Acupuncture).
At Navutu, you will have the opportunity to meet two yoga teachers, Manuela and Richard. They are both English-speaking and approach this discipline in different ways. Yoga, which she first discovered 8 years ago, helped Manuela fight illness. It gave her inner balance. Today she wants to share this sense of connection between body and mind.
Richard, for his part, refines his mastery of yoga day by day. Although he completed his 200 hours of teacher training in 2015, he remains always a student and learns more and more each day. Since he started this practice 14 years ago, Richard genuinely believes that every day with a session is more rewarding and productive than days without.
