Nestled in Kampong Chhnang province, 80 km north of Phnom Penh, a couple of dozen kilometers beyond the ancient capital of Oudong, Farm House Smiling Gecko occupies a dream location in the heart of Khum Tbaeng Khpos village surrounded by verdant rice paddies and rolling hills. By staying at the farm, you'll be supporting the initiative led by the Smiling Gecko NGO, which channels funds toward grassroots projects helping rural communities throughout Cambodia.

The Bungalows

Farm House Smiling Gecko offers 34 spacious rooms housed within 17 stilt bungalows, built in the tradition of Cambodian architecture. These wooden cottages all feature a terrace that frames breathtaking views of the countryside—wonderfully authentic Khmer hinterland vistas.

This rustic charm comes paired with modern amenities. Each double room includes a queen bed fitted with mosquito netting and circulating fan, while the shower and toilets are air-conditioned.
