Angkor Zipline - Guide Cambodia - Seripheap

Angkor Zipline

In Siem Reap, Angkor Zipline, the first zipline operator in Asia, offers you the chance to experience something like no other: a unique eco-adventure, the only one of its kind to take place inside a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Angkor Archaeological Park.

Rest assured, you will be accompanied at all times along an extremely secure route through a stunning tropical forest, rich in wildlife and plant life, and located next to the famous ancient ruins.

Soar through the Angkor Jungle

With Angkor Zipline, get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience at an exceptional site. From ziplines to suspension bridges, you’ll move from one platform to the next to explore the canopy of the ancient tropical forest at the Angkor archaeological site. You’ll have plenty of time to appreciate the local flora and fauna, with your ranger guides pointing out noteworthy plants and animals to observe. You may even be lucky enough to spot some gibbons, surprised to see you gliding from tree to tree just like them. A picnic stop will allow you to recharge with some Khmer specialties. To conclude your forest adventure, you’ll be invited on a short guided hike to learn more about the richness and preservation of this beautiful tropical forest.

A few words about your safety

To ensure your safety, Angkor Zipline conducts a thorough daily inspection of the course to check the cables and obstacles, as well as the condition of the trees. Additionally, Cambodian forestry officials regularly inspect this incredible circuit.

Each tour accommodates no more than 9 people. Two Sky Rangers, trained in first aid, will accompany you throughout the course. Before setting off on your jungle adventure, you’ll attend a safety briefing.

Helmets and harnesses will be provided and perfectly adjusted to your body by your two guardian angels, who will handle all technical aspects.

The maximum weight per participant is 125 kg, although all systems are designed to support heavier loads. You must be at least 1-meter-tall to be equipped with the necessary harness.

Things to know

While you won’t need to channel your inner Indiana Jones, common sense dictates a few clothing recommendations for this enjoyable eco-adventure.

Choose comfortable outdoor clothing (pants, leggings, jeans, t-shirts, polos…) and closed-toe shoes that fit securely, such as sneakers.

Make sure to empty your pockets and avoid carrying items that might be lost along the way (jewelry, keys, etc.). Leave these behind at your hotel or, if necessary, in the small locker provided at Angkor Zipline.

Since you’ll be immersed in the jungle, don’t forget to apply mosquito repellent. Also, make sure to wear sunscreen as the Cambodian sun will take every opportunity, even through the slightest gap in the trees, to kiss your skin.

How to get there

From Siem Reap, Angkor Zipline offers a free shuttle service. By using this service, you won’t need to bring your Angkor Pass.

Opening Hours

Except on holidays when ceremonies may make access to the site more difficult, Angkor Zipline operates year-round, from Monday to Sunday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
