In Siem Reap, Asia's first zipline operator, Angkor Zipline offers you the chance to experience something truly unparalleled: a unique eco-adventure—the only one ever conducted within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Angkor archaeological park.
Above all, rest assured: you'll be accompanied throughout an extremely secure course winding through a spectacular tropical forest, rich in wildlife and vegetation, that sits beside some of the world's most celebrated ruins.
Take Flight Over the Angkor Jungle
With Angkor Zipline, prepare yourself for a unique experience at an exceptional location. From ziplines to suspended bridges, you'll glide from platform to platform to explore the canopy of the ancient tropical forest at the Angkor archaeological site. You'll have ample time to appreciate the wildlife and flora thanks to your ranger guides, who will be sure to point out all the plants and animals worth observing. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to spot a few gibbons, surprised to see you swinging through the trees as they do. A picnic stop will give you the chance to regain your strength while savoring traditional Khmer specialties. And to conclude your forest adventure on a high note, you'll be invited on a short guided nature walk—a chance to learn more about the richness and preservation of this beautiful tropical forest.
A Word on Your Safety
To ensure your safety, Angkor Zipline conducts a rigorous daily inspection of the course to check cables, obstacles, and any potential tree damage. Additionally, Cambodian forest authorities regularly inspect this incredible circuit as well.
Each tour accommodates no more than 9 people. Two Sky Rangers trained in first aid will accompany you for the entire duration of the course. Before you set out to conquer the jungle, however, you'll need to attend a safety briefing.
A helmet and harness will be provided and perfectly fitted to your frame by your two guardian angels, who will handle all technical aspects.
The maximum weight accepted per participant is 125 kg, though all systems are designed to support heavier loads. You must be at least one meter tall to be fitted with the necessary harness.
Good to Know
While you won't exactly be dressing as Indiana Jones, common sense dictates certain dress code rules for this delightful eco-adventure.
Choose comfortable outdoor clothing (trousers, leggings, jeans, t-shirt, polo shirt, etc.) and closed shoes with good grip—sneakers work well.
Remember to empty your pockets and avoid carrying anything you might lose along the way (jewelry, keys, etc.). Leave those items at your hotel or, as a last resort, in the small locker provided to you at Angkor Zipline.
Since you'll be immersed in the jungle, don't forget to apply insect repellent. Also consider bringing sunscreen, as the Cambodian sun won't miss a single opportunity—including the smallest gap in the canopy—to catch your skin.
From Siem Reap, Angkor Zipline offers a complimentary shuttle service. By using it, you won't need to bring your Angkor Pass.
Operating Hours
Except on public holidays when ceremonies may restrict site access, Angkor Zipline operates year-round, Monday through Sunday, from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
