Since 2006, this organization has been organizing excursions through major ecological reserves across Cambodia. From the northern, eastern and southern plains to the vast expanse of the Tonle Sap, and the areas surrounding Siem Reap. All these activity zones form part of the center's program, which offers you guides who are specialists in birdwatching and the corresponding wildlife. These guides, all Khmer and mostly from the new generation, are passionate about Cambodian nature and work tirelessly for its conservation. They carry out concrete groundwork in these reserves, provide studies of the sites, investigate threats to certain species, and collaborate with international organizations such as the Wildlife Conservation Society to find tailored solutions.

Excursions from 1 to 21 days

Sam Veasna Center offers several tours to meet all expectations. The phenomenal diversity of fauna and flora around Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, animals facing critical extinction risk, jungles sheltering threatened birds, monkeys and elephants are all visit destinations suited to understanding the vast environmental questions facing Cambodia. A genuine ecotourism experience awaits you in these picturesque locations. You will navigate among floating villages, wind your way along the ochre-colored trails so characteristic of Cambodia's hinterland, and meet open-minded minorities eager to share their culture and traditions with you, all while discussing the environment that surrounds them and the life it sustains.
