  • 60 km from Siem Reap, a stop in the village of Kampong Kdei will let you take a peek at the beautiful Preah Tos Bridge. Bordered by Nagas sculptures, this 100-meter-long and 1000-year-old edifice is still used by pedestrians and two-wheeled vehicles.

  • 15 km west of Siem Reap, discover the silk factory of Pouk and the process of the silk production : from the plantation of the mulberry trees and the farming of the silkworms, to weaving and finished products available for sale.

  • In the afternoon, arrived at Battambang, go for a walk through the many villages around the city. It is the chance to observe the locals producing the typical cambodian prahoc (very odorous fish paste).

  • Visit one of the last traditional houses of Battambang with a Khmer architecture. Made of wood, it still houses period utensils.

  • Visit the Battambang Provincial Museum. On the small side, this museum will surprise you with the unlikely interest of its collection, not to mention the charm of the building itself.
