Registration on Cambodia E-arrival

Since July 1, 2024, a new procedure for arrivals in Cambodia has been implemented by the authorities. This new electronic procedure, free but mandatory, aims to replace the paper documents that were previously distributed by the flight crew: arrival card, health form, and customs declaration form. Please note that, currently, paper documents are still being distributed in parallel on the flight.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use it.

Create an account on Cambodia E-arrival

To apply for entry into Cambodia, you must create an account on "Cambodia E-Arrival" by going to the following website: https://arrival.gov.kh/. The site is in English, but you can change the language by clicking on the small flag in the top right corner. 

Then, click on "Submit Online."

The submission must be done within 7 days before your arrival in Cambodia.

Fill in the information in the Foreign Visitor box

Once your account is created, you will be redirected to a new page where you can begin the registration process. 

Click on the "Foreign Visitor" or "Individual Submission" box.

You will then be redirected to a new page where you can create a profile and fill in the information for one person.

Profile

1. Upload a recent photo. There are no specific requirements like for an ID photo, but for safety reasons, we recommend applying the same principles: no glasses, no smile, face-forward with a clear view of the face.
2. Enter all required information: passport number, expiration date, first and last name (as shown on your passport), gender, date of birth, country of birth, passport type, profession.
3. Upload a readable photo of your passport. You can scan it as well.
4. Enter your contact details: phone number, email, and optionally your social media (we recommend not doing so).
5. Click "Next."

Travel period in Cambodia

Continue by specifying your travel dates to Cambodia. Be sure to mention your intended arrival and departure dates.

Important:

It states: "The declaration can only be made within 7 days prior to the date of arrival (including the day of arrival) in Cambodia." 

For example, if you arrive on October 1, 2023, you can only submit your declaration from October 7, 2023. 

Please disregard this, as it should be an error. The declaration should be made within 7 days before the stay, i.e., starting from October 1, 2024, if your arrival is on October 7, 2024. 

Mode of transport

In this section, you will need your flight information.

1. Entry Point: This refers to the arrival airport, usually Phnom Penh International Airport.
2. Purpose of Travel: For vacation, an internship, or just transit, select the appropriate reason.
3. Mode of Transport: AIR
4. Type of Air Transport: Commercial (pre-selected)
5. Flight Number: Found on your flight ticket or booking.
6. Flight Name: Select from the proposed list.

Address in Cambodia

To complete this section, you must have at least one accommodation booked in Cambodia.

1. Type of Accommodation: Hotel, private residence, one-day excursion, or transit.
2. Hotel Name
3. Contact Number: It’s indicated as a private residence contact, but list the hotel’s number here.
4. Province: Select the province from the dropdown menu.
5. Hotel Address.

Entry and exit from Cambodia

Specify the city you will depart from before arriving in Cambodia and the city of departure after leaving Cambodia. Usually, the two cities are the same, but a trip to Cambodia may sometimes include a few days in a neighboring country like Thailand. This is the case, for example, with our "Cambodia-Thailand Combo" tour.

Health information

 It is important to answer these questions truthfully. 

Customs declaration

Before entering Cambodia, you must submit your customs declaration. Again, it is very important to be honest. 

The page also reminds you of the goods that do not need to be declared and those that do, in case of doubt.

Declaration confirmation

After filling out this form, you must confirm all the information provided by checking the box "I have read and accept the declaration." 

Click "Next" to validate everything.

Retrieve the QR Code

Once your information is entered, an email will be sent to you with a QR code that you will need to present to the immigration officer. The QR code is also available in the app. You must finalize the online procedure at least 7 days before your arrival in Cambodia. Digital tablets will be available at the different airports in the country for those without a smartphone or internet connection.
