Effective from November 15, 2021

• Land and maritime borders remain closed to foreign nationals (except with prior special authorization); Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh airports are currently the only entry points available for tourist travel

• Visa on Arrival (or VoA) remains unavailable until further notice. If you do not hold a multi-entry visa of the EOS type (Extension of Stay), you must apply for an entry visa in advance through a Cambodian embassy or consulate. Eligibility criteria may vary from one embassy to another, so we recommend contacting them directly.

• Tourists can apply for an e-Visa (electronic tourist visa) on the website www.evisa.gov.kh

• Holders of a Taiwanese passport are eligible only for the E-Type online visa (application to be made on the website mentioned above).

• Visa exemption for ASEAN nationals has been reintroduced.

PCR TEST BEFORE DEPARTURE

ALL travelers, including children and newborns, must present a negative PCR test certificate for coronavirus (COVID-19) performed less than 72 hours before arrival in Cambodia. This must be a physical document (not digital) with official stamp and handwritten signature (i.e., not a photocopy).

COVID-19 VACCINATION CARD/CERTIFICATE

All travelers who have completed a full vaccination schedule (i.e., 2 doses) are eligible for quarantine-free entry and must present their vaccination card/certificate accordingly.

• Confirmation of full vaccination status

• Last dose received at least 14 days before arrival

• This document must include:

  1. The traveler's name

  2. The type(s) of vaccine received

  3. Vaccination dates

  4. This must be a physical document (not digital via phone or tablet). If it is a card, please print a color copy. If it is a digital document, please print it in color.

PRE-BOOKING OF A "SUPERIOR" ASQ HOTEL OR DEPOSIT TO PAY UPON ARRIVAL:

All unvaccinated foreign travelers must pre-book an ASQ hotel or leave a sum of $2,000 as a deposit with an approved bank to cover quarantine expenses. Note that many airlines require passengers to have this amount in cash to board).

Cambodian citizens traveling with a Cambodian passport (or foreign passport with a K visa) may complete their quarantine free of charge in a government quarantine center or choose hotel quarantine at their own expense.

Quarantine fees for foreign travelers will be deducted from their deposit, or paid directly to the hotel in case of pre-booking.

COVID-19 TEST UPON ARRIVAL

All travelers, including children and newborns, will be tested upon arrival in Cambodia, either through a rapid antigen test or a PCR-type test.

• Vaccinated travelers – rapid test upon arrival

• Unvaccinated travelers – rapid test upon arrival / PCR test on day 13

Individuals testing positive will be sent to a treatment/quarantine center approved by the Ministry of Health.

QUARANTINE PERIODS

• No quarantine: Vaccinated travelers (2 doses)

• 14-day quarantine: Travelers who have not received a complete vaccination schedule at least 14 days before arrival

• Children: Unvaccinated minors (under 18 years) traveling with their family will be subject to the same quarantine regime as their parents: if the parents are vaccinated and exempt from quarantine, the children will be as well.
